Gianluigi "Gigi" Buffon (born in Carrara, January 28, 1978, age 33 years) was a professional soccer player from Italy. He now joined the Turin club, Juventus FC. Buffon also a goalkeeper in the Italy national football team. He bought Juventus from Parma in 2001. When delivering his best achievement was winning the 2006 World Cup Italy. Until now, Buffon is often referred to as one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Awards she has received one of them is the Best Goalkeepers Serie A title which he had achieved as much as eight times.

Born of a family background in sports with her mother Maria Stella as an athlete throwing a discus and father Adriano Buffon as weight lifters, Buffon was the first child of three siblings. Two sisters Veronica and Guendalina is also currently works as a volleyball athlete. Uncle Angelo Masocco Buffon himself is also works as a basketball athlete. One of the legendary Italian goalkeeper Lorenzo Buffon is still no blood relationship with the grandfather Gianluigi Buffon.
